Hello, my name is Romain.
Back in May 2021, I was in need of financial support, so I decided to give Upwork a shot and created an account. My first job was a tough learning curve. I worked for 4 hours and earned only $13.50. It felt like a big, big fail.
I dived into learning all about Upwork, watching and reading a lot online, but I couldn't find anything that really helped. I couldn’t find the secret sauce that was going to REALLY help me.
My beginnings

That's when I turned to human psychology. I started learning how people think and what drives their decisions.
So, I went back on Upwork, retried, made countless errors, kept studying and learning. Tip by tip, I was improving my profile, my proposals. Each step took me a bit closer to nailing it. This whole process of trying, failing, and learning was what eventually got me to really mastering Upwork.
This journey led me to develop my own framework, which I call the ‘Pathway9 Formula’: A 9-Step strategy to consistently secure clients on Upwork.
Eureka Moment
I returned to Upwork, armed with my new strategy, and the results were astonishing. After just 4 jobs, I landed a client who paid me $24,426.89.
I'm not usually one to boast, but I have to admit, this experience was a game-changer for me.
Eventually, I outgrew that client and sought new challenges. Using my framework once again, I quickly secured another high-paying client, bringing in an additional $20k.
